Breaking news
Wow, I'm amazed at how far news travels, and I'm thankful for all the phone calls and text messages I received today. If you haven't heard by now, there was a very bad car accident on the highway not far from where I live. A woman driving a Lexus SUV just like mine, crossed over into the path of an oncoming Ford van. They think weather may have contributed to the accident. She was killed instantly, and the four occupants of the van were transported to local area hospitals with serious injuries, two of them in critical condition, as of this afternoon. I have not watched the news this evening, but I'm happy to report I am alive and well. Thank you all very much for checking on me, and please pray for the families and the victims...so very, very sad!!!!

ReplyDeleteI'm a little late but I am so glad you are safe and yes, that family needs prayer. Always a terribly sad thing but also magnified this time of year.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Diana! We had to travel right over the very spot it happened yesterday, and it certainly gives one pause to think about the plans God has for us, and to live each day as though it's your last.
