Happy Monday...and the rest of the week for that matter! I don't have much time for a proper post just now, but I wanted to show you what I've had fun with over the weekend. This is a very pretty little pattern, so I'm glad I'm taking the advice of others and increasing some of the pattern sections for a bit larger shawlette. The pattern is called Summer Flies by Donna Griffin. Once I figured out there was errata for the pattern (doesn't state it on the project page on Ravelry), I was well on my way. I got the yarn, Aya by Noro, from my daughter's yarn shop, and while I'm not sure I'm liking the thick and thin of it, it's easy on the hands with the cotton/silk blend. It's probably not the best yarn for this pattern, but it's fun watching the colors change. Mine starts out with cool colors for summer, but then transitions to warmer colors for fall. Gives it more versatility that way, I think..
I have errands to run today and want to get it all finished up before the extreme heat hits. Take care and I'll be back with more later....
ETA: Double checked myself and this morning, it does state that there is a more current version of this pattern and errata is available. Wish it had been there yesterday when I was about to toss the whole thing! Oh well, all is well now, and I'm loving this design!!
