Before I go on, I wanted to mention that I haven't forgotten about the contest I held on my blog over the month of August. There were two entrants, Courtney and Toni, and Scooter liked both responses, so I've decided they are both winners and I will have your prizes to you very soon. Congratulations!
Also, for now, my feed is screwed up between here and Ravelry, but I'm working on it. I think the problem lies mostly with Blogger, not Ravelry, so hopefully I will have that straightened out soon.
Scooter and I had such a peaceful, lovely weekend. We didn't get to the flower beds like I had hoped, but the house is all nice and clean and the laundry is all finished. That makes me feel so good and now I can spend the rest of the week playing. As I said, I believe in an earlier post, I want to cast on for a cute little sweater and beret for our granddaughter, Maya. I'm pretty excited about that, and I was going to also make her big brother a pair of mitts, but I'm afraid they will get lost somewhere on the school grounds. So, maybe a sweater for him too, since it's bigger thereby hopefully making it harder to lose. We will see....
I do want to get to my February Lady Sweater today, so that is my agenda for starting the week. Maybe I will have some progress I can show you tomorrow...I will also cast on for Scooter's new socks, which will be the perfect project to take with us on our fishing trip in a couple of weeks....kill two fishes with one stone...oh, wait, that's birds, huh? hehehe
Oooooh, I almost forgot...we are also going on our first wine tasting trip on Saturday!!!! I'm so excited. I will have lots to tell you next week, I'm sure....
I hope you have a wonderful week filled with nothing but peace and happiness!!!!

Beautiful beret! I love the colors.
ReplyDeleteHey, send some heat our way. It hasn't been above 70 since early last week. It's still summer, for heaven's sake!
Thank you, Rita! Noro outdid themselves with this colorway...the colors are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI am soooo ready for some cooler weather, just wish we could keep the sun with it, but unfortunately, we need the water big time! They should change us from the 'Golden' state to the 'Fire' state.
