This is going to be a very fast post tonight. Pictures later, but for now, suffice to say I had an awesome time at Stitches today!!! Took the train down with 3 other gal pals, and it was so fun seeing old friends, as well as new friends I made last year. I had a very cool time meeting podcasters I listen to every week or so, and how awesome to get to see and chat some with ones I have met before. I came home with a mountain of goodies that I will have to share with you the next post.
It has been a very eventful past 2 1/2 weeks. What I thought was a bad cold I had been trying to get over since the beginning of December, turned out to be pneumonia. ACCKKKK!!! Ending up in the hospital set me back a week with my Ravelympics project, so I probably won't cross the finish line tomorrow. I'm okay with that. The only thing left to do are the sleeves on my sweater. In 8 days, I managed to knit the entire body of it though, so I did challenge myself and I'm quite pleased with what I accomplished on it. Note to self: get pneumonia vaccine next week!
That's all I have for now. I'm tired and will have to get back to all of you later. Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!!!
Can't wait to see your goodies!:)
ReplyDeleteI am glad you are feeling better. I cant wait to see what you got at stitches!
ReplyDeleteThanks Courtney and Dawn! Hopefully, I can find time to get pictures. Got a call during the night..I have two family members in the hospital, so we will be taking shifts. Maybe I can get some knitting done during my shift, but we will see.
ReplyDeleteThe two of you are going to have to plan to go to Stitches next year. We have so much fun!!!
Oh my, pneumonia is nasty stuff. I had it 9 years ago and it took forever to get over it. Believe me, I had MY pneumonia vaccine after that!
ReplyDeleteI was so sick that I did nothing but read and sleep. Unfortunately I was also moving, so as soon as I could stand up I was packing and cleaning. I know that set me back a good bit. Take good care of yourself and REST!
Thank you, Rita! The cough seems to hang on forever, but I notice it less and less each day. :=)
